Relaxed, casual and informal wedding photography focused on the Taupo and Central Plateau Region of New Zealand (NZ)

Style and Approach:
Many of Ross's clients book him because of his low-key approach. Ross prefers to observe the wedding rather than direct it and tends to stay in the background quietly taking photographs to capture more of the emotion of the day.

Photographers:
Ross is the sole photographer at the wedding accompanied by a photography co-ordinator. With his 20 years experience, and based on feedback, guests are more comfortable with this approach as the photographs appear more relaxed and natural.

Black & White and Colour Photography:
Ross shoots with two high resolution digital cameras, one focuses on black and white images with the other set to colour.
A typical wedding would have approx. 50% black and white images.

Cameras:
Ross is currently photographing with two top level Nikon 12 Megapixel cameras. He was the first wedding photographer in Taupo to convert to full DSLR camera technology nine years ago.

Presentation:
Although albums are industry standard, Ross feels that they are too personal and therefore presents the final selection of photographs in a hand crafted wooden case accompanied by a high resolution image disc of these images. Ross also offers beautifully designed and produced coffee table books in hard or soft cover, these are available as an add-on option or part of a package.
